This is a scrapbook donated by Kathy Duncan.
It was made by a woman named Janice Beanston who was at the fair when she was 15 and documented a lot of her experiences with her own pictures and descriptions from the fair.

Siamese Bowl
450-year-old ceramic box
This small lidded box, made in northern Thailand in the 16th century, was imported for exhibit at the Golden Gate International Exposition. It was a gift of Henry Gardiner, who was Director of the San Diego Museum of Art from 1969 to 1979.
