Join us in an evening of dancing in honor of the anniversary of the Golden Gate International Exposition (1939-1940). Music by Nick Rossi Swing Six!

Start the celebration by joining PICYA for a 360 Cruise to parade around Treasure Island in celebration of the 1939 Golden Gate International Exhibition from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Sign up here!

Then afterwards join Treasure Island Museum in Building One to dance the night away!

Date and Time: Saturday, February 18th, 6:30 - 10 pm

  • 6:30 Dance Lesson With Nathan Dias from Cat’s Corner, 7:00 live music and dancing

  • The historic lobby of the Art Deco Administration Building of  the Golden Gate International Exposition (1939 - 1940)

Performer: NICK ROSSI is the San Francisco-Bay Area’s premiere swing bandleader. His variety of combos are popular both among swing dancers and jazz fans, appearing at a most of the region’s top venues. His music, presentation, and spirit is influenced and inspired by the Swing Era of the 1930s and 1940s, but is very much in a present tense. Nick leads the house band monthly at the historic and spectacular Top of the Mark in San Francisco, which like the Golden Gate International Exposition debuted in 1939.

Dress: Festive! Vintage Dress admired but not required

Food and Drink: Exposition themed cocktails will be poured by Gold Bar Whiskey  and Pacific House Gin. Wine and beer will be provided by Woods Island Club. Food truck will be available on site.

***No Host Bar

Transportation: Free parking is limited, alternative means of transportation are encouraged. Take a plane, take the Treasure Island Ferry or a bus... but GET OVER HERE!
