"There is so much history. There is so much stuff here that I can't wait to tell people. Whenever the people come here, and they just see this construction and stuff, when they come to Building One and I give my spiel, I say, 'Wow, we didn't even know that such a thing existed.' We didn't know actually the place started because of the technology and the contribution of Pan Am basically setting up the system that now the partners could travel all over the world at that time with the China Clipper 4. Clipper Cove was one of the runways or traveling from San Francisco to Hawai’i. Who would've thought that this body of water was actually a runway? Boy, that's such a fascinating history we have with Pan Am.

This is an amazing place. And I hope that I can contribute, my family and I can contribute more to the expansions of the island, contribute to the community of the island, to all different facets of the island. We are here for a long, long time, to stay here for a long time."
