"The biggest thing I want to say -- and I really feel like I want to honor this to Treasure Island -- I spent over 20 odd years with Boys & Girls Club. I got a, 'Thank you,' and, 'Thanks for what you did.' Treasure Island purposely went out and they awarded me with recognition. It wasn't about I wanted to be recognized, but I only spent six... but those six incredible years on Treasure Island was probably the most impactful part of my whole journey with Boys & Girls Club. Being a part of this makes me feel that my time in America has meant something, and I just feel really honored. That's why Treasure Island will always be a very, very special community in San Francisco. By far, my favorite part. I've worked at Hunters Point, Sunnydale, Fillmore, Tenderloin, you name it. Treasure Island by far is the best community."
