"I mean, my restaurant's the rainbow coalition. So from LGBTQ down to POC to... My goal was at the restaurant and that kids and no matter who walks in through the door, that they're respected and fed and they find joy in each other. That Mersea has become this destination where families and pets and kids and grandkids and people celebrating their 90th birthdays come together and commune together. How amazing would it be that Treasure Island could show how community can come together? That we're not this haves versus have-nots, the high-rises versus the low-rise and low income. They're low income, so forget about them. They're high income, so let's sit on a hill. That we can all co-mingle and coexist together."
