The museum deeply regrets to announce that our longtime board

member, benefactor, and past president Claire Isaacs Wahrhaftig

passed away on December 31, 2023.

Claire was a leader within our organization and an inspiration for

almost 30 years, and a naming donor to our free public gallery in

historic Building One. Her generosity ensured that no one was ever

turned away from museum events for lack of funds.
