New Online Exhibition

University of San Francisco intern Sophia Riggs curated this virtual exhibition about Freidolin Kessler, who took a 1600-mile solo bicycle trip across California to document the status of its historic missions in 1938.

Featuring art and artifacts from our collection, Riggs' The Art of Preservation also includes recordings from our archives that Kessler made later in life, recently digitized by volunteers.
